Course Description:

The objective of Fine Arts Survey is to give the student an introduction to understanding the arts. This course focuses on two of the four arts: Visual Art and Drama. This course was written to help the student develop the ability to acknowledge and distinguish a fuller awareness of the world through the arts, to develop the ability to express ideas and emotions through participation in the arts, to develop an awareness and understanding of the arts in an historical context and their effects on society in their power to move us, and to develop the capacity to make aesthetic judgements.
