Course Description:

The first semester of Research in Career will help you to learn about different careers in an effort to help you to select a career that makes you feel more fulfilled. It will also help you to choose a career that allows you to make money to do the things you like and to live the lifestyle you want. Working through the lessons in the course will help you to identify your passions, talents, values and goals. You will investigate career clusters with an eye toward the future as well as use practical planning and decision-making tools to develop a personal career plan. The textbook, Investigating Your Career (South-Western Cengage Learning, 2011) was selected because of the activities that will help you to reach your goals.
