Course Description:

Geometry topics include the study of points, lines, planes, measurement, angles, and perpendiculars, congruent triangles, triangle inequalities and parallels.  Students will learn the basics of writing proofs.  In the second semester part of the course, students will continue their work with proofs as well as the study of polygons, similarity, right triangles, circles and spheres and area and volume.
