Course Description:

This course will provide the student with a basic understanding of the major aspects of physical fitness. In this course the student will learn how to effectively plan, implement, and assess his or her own exercise program to meet their individual needs. The student will gain basic knowledge of skill and health-related fitness along with the principles of exercise, exercise safety, and the importance of being a smart consumer.
